The Patriarchs

Americana folk-rock troubadours

Patriarch noun /ˈpātrēˌärk/: father or founder of a family or tribe

The Patriarchs are an acoustic trio based out of Cherokee County Georgia whose musical styles range from folk and americana to modern pop and rock. Their carefully selected repertoire has been crafted to appeal to a wide variety of listeners, featuring music from the 1960’s through today.

  • The members of The Patriarchs have been performing together in various projects for nearly a decade. In early 2021 Bruce and Sean decided to get together and work on new material, including a playlist of originals and cover songs they both love and enjoy playing. A few months later they reached out to Greg who completed the ensemble on drums and percussion. Because the three members met through the common connection of their children’s sports activities, they decided on the name The Patriarchs (Fathers) and began playing out in the fall of 2021.
